Welcome to the Association for Computing Machinery Chapter at the University of Florida.

ACM, our parent organization, is the world's largest educational and scientific computing society, delivering resources that advance computing as a science and a profession. ACM provides the computing field's premier Digital Library and serves its members and the computing profession with leading-edge publications, conferences, and career resources. ACM Logo

Century Tower All students enrolled in the Computer Science department at UF are members of ACM. Our chapter strives to provide students with valuable resources in addition to those already provided by ACM. This would include events such as guest speaker series, the career development workshop, and meet-and-greet events with a variey of companies.

In addition to helping students, ACM at UF also strives to help the community. Annually, a high school programming competition is held on campus. High School students from Florida and Georgia are welcomed to participate in this challenging and rewarding event. Furthermore, ACM Recycling is a new program starting this year with the goal of providing refurbished computers and peripherals to those in need within the local Gainesville community. Please view the Recycling Program Page for more information.
